Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a skilled Quality Engineer to join an MSF project, focusing on testing SaaS-based applications including Salesforce. You will drive automation, performance, and security testing within an agile team.

You will develop automated testing frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with engineering to optimize coverage and delivery while ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS-based (e.g. Salesforce) application testing.
• Proven experience in test automation development and execution with SaaS, enterprise or government solutions.
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks i.e. Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, JUnit.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI/CD) and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce platform architecture and solutions.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for SaaS-based applications (e.g. Salesforce).
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web-based SaaS applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize test coverage and identify automation opportunities.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports.
• Ensure test compatibility with SaaS platform updates.
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for enterprise and government SaaS applications.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of SaaS integrations.
• Validate application functionality across Salesforce environments.
• Ensure compliance with government and enterprise security standards.
• Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks for Salesforce-based SaaS applications.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations.
• Test application behavior under various load conditions.
• Monitor and report on application performance in enterprise environments.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement continuous testing practices to ensure timely feedback.
• Contribute to IaC solutions development and maintenance.
• Participate in test planning and estimation activities (security testing incl. penetration testing).
• Execute manual tests as needed to supplement automated testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective test coverage across functional and security requirements.
