Job summary

Pan & Company Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Solution/Business Analyst who will translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, process flows and solution designs for cloud-native applications.

The role involves hands-on development and deployment, with Ruby on Rails and relational databases, CI/CD, IaC, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment and robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3–5 years IT experience in business/systems analysis.
• Hands-on development, testing, and deployment of cloud-native apps.
• Experience with microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Ability to document solution designs, configurations, processes, and APIs.

Job description

The role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into technical specifications, process flows and solution designs, while contributing to architectural decisions for cloud-native applications. This includes working with microservices, APIs and event-driven architectures to ensure solutions align with established technology standards and system architecture.

The position requires hands-on development, testing and deployment of applications and integrations, with experience in Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL or MySQL. It also involves supporting CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployments and Infrastructure as Code, while conducting technical investigations, debugging production issues, implementing fixes, and improving application stability and performance.

The role will participate in code reviews, quality assurance and UAT, while working closely with business and technical stakeholders to communicate solutions effectively. It also requires comprehensive technical documentation covering solution designs, configurations, processes, support procedures and APIs. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least 3-5 years of IT experience, particularly in Business, Systems or Solution Analysis.
