* Architect and scale mission-critical backend systems and distributed cloud services to support high-volume global traffic.

* Define long-term technical strategy and system architecture for core platform domains

* Take end-to-end ownership of the engineering lifecycle

* Drive engineering excellence across teams by conducting architecture reviews & setting coding standards

* Optimize system reliability and performance by proactively troubleshooting complex production issues and scaling data infrastructure

* Leverage cutting-edge AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate software delivery cycles and enhance overall development efficiency

skills and requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

* Min 7 years of experience, with a proven track record in large-scale internet or e-commerce environments

* Deep expertise in architecting cloud-native solutions on AWS, including containerized environments utilizing ECS or Kubernetes. (open to Azure or GCP)

* Extensive experience working with data stores, caching, and streaming platforms such as MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch

* Familiarity or direct experience using AI-native development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code to optimize productivity
