Qualifications

• Secondary/Nitec/Higher Nitec/ Diploma required.
• Experience in room cleaning or housekeeping is a plus; training provided.
• Ability to converse in basic English with guests.
• Friendly, positive demeanour and team player.
• Willing to perform shift duties including weekends/holidays.
• Adherence to standard safety procedures in the workplace.
• Experience with AI productivity tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for room cleaning, making up rooms with fresh linens, towels, and sheets.
• Using disinfectants on tubs, counters, toilets, windows, mirrors and other surfaces.
• Ensure amenities are in good condition and report defects for repair.
• Re-stocking of the room cleaning trolley and attending to guests’ requests.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency, reporting, and communication.

Job Description

• Responsible for room cleaning, making up rooms with fresh linens, towels, and sheets
• Using disinfectants and other cleaning agents on tubs, counters, toilets, windows, mirrors, and other surfaces in the guestrooms
• Ensure that the room amenities are in good working condition and to report any defects for repair / servicing if required, toiletries, towels etc. are replenished as required
• Re-stocking of the room cleaning trolley
• To attend to guests’ request promptly
• To report on any loss and found items
• Leverage AI-powered productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot & ChatGPT) to enhance operational efficiency, reporting, and communication
• Any other duties within reasonable scope as assigned
• Support the company's sustainability initiatives and contribute to its efforts in building a more sustainable and inclusive organisation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Secondary / Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma
• Prior experience in room cleaning / general housekeeping would be an added advantage although training will be provided
• Ability to converse in basic English for interaction with guests / understanding guests’ needs & request
• Able to maintain a friendly and positive demeanour
• Team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Willing and able to perform shift duties
• Comfortable working on weekends and public holidays
• Able to adhere to standard operating procedures / policies on workplace safety
• Experience with AI-powered workplace productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or other approved AI applications) will be an added advantage.
