Job summary

WORLDWIDE HOTELS MANAGEMENT (H) PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a housekeeping attendant to maintain room cleanliness and guest comfort. You will make beds, replenish towels and amenities, and ensure bathrooms and surfaces are disinfected to high standards.

Role requires basic English, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work shifts including weekends/public holidays, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Secondary / Nitec / Higher Nitec or Diploma required.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred; training provided.
• Basic English for guest interaction.
• Friendly, positive demeanour; team player; able to work with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Adhere to workplace safety SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms and make up beds with fresh linens, towels, and sheets.
• Disinfect tubs, counters, toilets, windows, mirrors, and surfaces.
• Check room amenities and report defects; replenish toiletries and towels.
• Restock housekeeping trolley.
• Attend to guests’ requests promptly.
• Report lost and found items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description & Requirements

• Responsible for room cleaning, making up rooms with fresh linens, towels, and sheets
• Using disinfectants and other cleaning agents on tubs, counters, toilets, windows, mirrors, and other surfaces in the guestrooms
• Ensure that the room amenities are in good working condition and to report any defects for repair / servicing if required, toiletries, towels etc. are replenished as required
• Re-stocking of the room cleaning trolley
• To attend to guests’ request promptly
• To report on any loss and found items
• Any other duties within reasonable scope as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Secondary / Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma
• Prior experience in room cleaning / general housekeeping would be an added advantage although training will be provided
• Ability to converse in basic English for interaction with guests / understanding guests’ needs & request
• Able to maintain a friendly and positive demeanour
• Team player with the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Willing and able to perform shift duties
• Able to work on weekend and during public holidays
• Able to adhere to standard operating procedures / policies on workplace safety
