Job summary

A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES is seeking a robotics software engineer to research and develop robotic software packages using the ROS framework for industrial automation. You will architect solutions for interoperable multi-agent and multi-robot systems, focusing on coordination, scheduling, task assignment, and traffic deconfliction.

Qualifications

Proficiency in C++ and Python programming.
Experience with SDLC and software lifecycle processes.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with ROS2 and its ecosystem.
Proficiency with Git version control.
Knowledge of robotics concepts including manipulation, navigation, fleet management, and/or simulation.
Experience with software systems integration and communication protocols.
Experience with networked systems design and implementation.

Responsibilities

Research and develop robotic software using ROS for industrial applications.
Architect and develop software for multi-agent and multi-robot coordination and scheduling.
Translate business requirements into system requirements and validation methodologies.
Plan and document technical projects, write-ups, and presentations.
