Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking an entry-level robotics software engineer to design, implement, and deploy software modules for perception, localisation, and navigation on Windows or embedded Linux.

You will develop APIs in C/C++ and Python, gain exposure to ROS, and work with hardware like ARM, DSP, and FPGA. The role involves validating designs, executing DOE plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on customer projects.

Qualifications

• Entry level candidates welcome.
• Knowledge or experience related to C, C++.
• Knowledge of ROS is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy software modules for robotics systems (perception, localisation, navigation, ML).
• Develop, optimise and test software APIs under Windows and/or embedded Linux.
• Create validation/test plans to meet customer goals and specs; conduct trials and analyze results.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to drive continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot robotics systems in simulation and real hardware; perform unit testing and code coverage.
• Assist in DOE procedures, documentation, and deployment activities.
• Communicate project requirements and progress with internal and external customers on site.
