Job summary

NCS is seeking a Senior Product Innovator (Robotics) to develop, implement, and optimize software for cutting-edge robotics systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create intelligent, reliable, and scalable robotic applications in Singapore and the APAC region.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python/C++/Java skills, ROS experience, knowledge of computer vision libraries like OpenCV, and hands-on experience with simulation tools such as Gazebo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics & Automation Engineering, Robotics system design & development, or related fields.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in robotics software development.
• Experience with autonomous systems or robotics hardware is a plus.
• Exposure to agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize robotic software applications using Python, C++, or Java.
• Integrate robotics software with hardware components, including sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers.
• Work on communication protocols like ROS, MQTT, or CAN.
• Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and validation to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot real-time issues during deployments and refine software based on feedback.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
• Support project deployments by performing mapping and robot setup for operations.
