Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd, Singapore, is seeking a Software Engineer to support robot fleet software. You will contribute to a robot-agnostic fleet platform spanning indoor robots to autonomous vehicles and work on software changes for the Robot Fleet Manager and Robot Agents.

You will work with ROS, RMF concepts, robot communication protocols, and Gazebo simulations. Proficiency in Python or Java and exposure to embedded firmware are valued as you help expand agentic AI capabilities and test with physical

Qualifications

Familiar with ROS and RMF concepts.
path to ROS RMF concepts and related tooling.
Experience with robot simulation tools (Gazebo).
Proficient in Python and/or Java.
Exposure to embedded/firmware development or hardware interfacing.
Interest in agentic AI and autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

Support implementation of software changes to Robot Fleet Manager and Robot Agents.
Contribute to development and maintenance of robot fleet system spanning indoor robots to autonomous vehicles.
Work with robot communication protocols and simulation tools.
Support expansion of agentic AI capabilities to improve user workflows.
Interact with physical robot systems for software development and testing.
Assist firmware-level integration—sensors, controllers, and embedded firmware on robot platforms.
Troubleshoot hardware-software interface issues during fleet integration.
