NTU Singapore’s MAE invites applications for a Research Engineer to advance cutting-edge robotic systems under uncertainty. The role emphasizes designing and validating algorithms, building robust open-source software, and integrating software with hardware in high-performance labs.

You will contribute to publications and patent activity while mentoring student researchers and ensuring safety and compliance in a dynamic lab environment.

Competenze

• Master's degree in a related field required.
• Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2 and Linux experience.
• Experience in perception, state estimation, computer vision, or robotic manipulation under uncertainty preferred.
• Open-source contributions or patents desirable.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and benchmark probabilistic robotics algorithms.
• Lead development and release of ROS/ROS2 packages and libraries.
• Integrate software with robotic manipulators, sensors, and actuators.
• Plan experiments and evaluate perception-action loops with multi-modal data.
• Draft invention disclosures and contribute to robotics publications.
• Manage laboratory infrastructure and supervise student researchers.
