Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Robotics Technical Lead to own the platform that coordinates robot fleets across buildings. This hands-on leadership role requires staying close to code while building a high-performing engineering team.

You will translate product goals into robust architecture, make hard build decisions, and ensure safety, reliability, and easy deployment. You will hire, mentor, and set engineering standards, guiding AI-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

• Production robotics experience in facility management and security robotics in real buildings.
• Experience coordinating a fleet of robots across multiple sites.
• Proven track record of leading engineers and delivering end-to-end projects.
• Hands-on software engineering across the robotics stack with real-world robustness.
• Ability to orchestrate AI coding agents as part of the development process.
• Experience designing interfaces or platforms used by other teams.
• Strong commitment to safety in human-robot environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of the platform coordinating robot fleets across buildings.
• Build and lead a team of roboticists: hire, mentor, set technical standards, and deliver the roadmap.
• Make the key technical decisions on system structure, scalability, and safety.
• Design how third-party robots are integrated and added to the platform.
• Ensure robots connect with building and operations so activity flows to people and systems.
• Define stable interfaces for other teams and products to consume.
• Champion an AI-augmented workflow to accelerate delivery and raise the bar for small teams.
• Establish engineering foundations: testing, simulation, quality, and deployment, for reliable rollouts.
