NCS in Singapore is seeking a Lead/Senior Systems Engineer for the Multi-Robot Systems team. You will design, develop, and test software powering orchestration and deployment of a fleet of heterogeneous robots, from interfaces to system-level deployment.

You will mentor engineers and collaborate with robotics, AI, and product teams to deliver robust, scalable robotic solutions for real-world applications.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years of software/system development experience, preferably in robotics or distributed systems.
• Strong programming in Java/Python or similar languages.
• Hands-on ROS/ROS2 and real-time robotic systems experience.
• Docker, Kubernetes or containerization experience.
• MQTT, DDS or robotics messaging protocols knowledge.
• Solid understanding of system integration and robotic protocols.
• Unit/integration testing and CI/CD pipeline experience.
• Production rollout and system upgrade experience.
• Strong documentation and technical communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and test modular software components for multi-robot behaviors and coordination.
• Build and optimize the multi-robot orchestration engine for task distribution and coordination.
• Design interfaces to integrate diverse robotic platforms into a unified system.
• Ensure interoperability across robot types and vendors using middleware frameworks.
• Conduct system-level and integration testing; deploy and validate in real-world environments.
• Translate user needs into detailed user stories and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documents including system design specs and deployment guides.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns; collaborate with robotics, AI, and product teams.
