Job summary

BeeX is building the world’s most advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs) and offers autonomous robotics solutions for asset integrity in maritime, energy and defense sectors. The role focuses on hardware design, testing, and continuous improvement within a fast-growing tech startup environment in Singapore.

You will work closely with a cross-functional team under the Hardware Lead, balancing field trials with office design work, and contributing to long-term product robustness

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.Eng in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SolidWorks and PCB design tools.
• Familiarity with embedded C++ and hardware interfaces helps.

Responsibilities

• Assist to design, implement and test features for HAUV electrical/mechanical systems.
• Prepare fabrication drawings (CAD, PCB) and BOMs; liaise with vendors.
• Create and improve test fixtures, protocols and data logging.
• Support sustaining engineering including CAPA and failure analysis.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of components.
• Document design changes and test results for traces and ECOs.
• Set up reliability tests (life-cycle, vibration, thermal cycling) and analyze data.
