Job summary

BeeX in Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own the HAUV build process from subassemblies to full vehicles ready for sea trials in harsh subsea environments. You will turn designs into repeatable, scalable production while ensuring high reliability.

Join a fast-moving startup with cross-functional teams; develop instructions, define wiring standards, and lead quality checks as BeeX scales its manufacturing footprint locally and across sites, including travel to Johor Bahru as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing or Marine Engineering.
• 2–5 years in manufacturing, production or assembly engineering, preferably robotics/marine/defence.
• Hands-on with wiring harnesses, crimping, soldering and connector termination.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, GD&T, and electrical schematics.
• Experience writing work instructions and building quality processes for production.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment with hands-on problem solving.
• Nice to have subsea/marine robotics experience; CAD proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end HAUV build process from subassemblies to integrated vehicles.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, assembly sequences, and build travellers.
• Support vehicle integration, bench testing, and pre-deployment checks.
• Define standards for wiring harness fabrication, crimping, soldering, and termination.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
