Job summary

BeeX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own the HAUV build process, from subassemblies to sea-ready vehicles. You will translate design into repeatable production flows, ensuring quality in harsh subsea environments.

In this hands-on role, you will develop build instructions, lead process improvements, and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to scale production across sites in Singapore and beyond.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Manufacturing or Marine Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production or assembly engineering.
• Hands-on skills with wiring harnesses, crimping, soldering, and connector termination (IPC/WHMA).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end HAUV build process: pressure hulls, thruster modules, electronics enclosures, PCB stacks.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, assembly sequences, and build travellers.
• Lead vehicle integration, bench testing, and pre-deployment checks with engineering and operations teams.
• Define standards for wiring harness fabrication and connector termination; ensure reliability under pressure and saltwater exposure.
• Train technicians on crimping, soldering, and connector assembly practices.
• Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve build consistency and reduce cycle time.
