Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) seeks a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to design, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for robotic systems in manufacturing and assembly. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to develop in-house core algorithms and robust software for deployment.

The role requires a strong background in CV, image processing, ML/DL, and calibration, with proficiency in C++, Python, and CUDA.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in CS/EE/Robotics with 5+ years in CV & robotics.
Strong CV and image processing, ML/DL with real-world deployments.
Expert calibration: camera intrinsics, extrinsics, robot-to-camera workflows.
Proficient in C++, Python, CUDA; OpenCV, PCL, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
3D reconstruction and point-cloud processing.

Responsibilities

Design and implement CV algorithms for 3D reconstruction, image processing, detection, recognition, tracking, and scene understanding.
Develop software that integrates CV into robotic platforms for high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with engineers to prototype concepts and deploy technologies from concept to real-world use.
Stay updated on CV/ML advancements to inform development.
Optimize CV algorithms for efficiency and real-time performance.
Test and validate CV components under diverse, challenging conditions.
Document designs, implementation details, and testing protocols for knowledge sharing.
