Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) seeks a senior software architect to lead the development of a scalable robotic manipulation platform, turning proven code into a deployable product for worldwide rollout.

You will define architectural standards, drive modularization, and guide AI/robotics components across multiple factories using ROS, C++, Python, and modern MLOps practices.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Robotics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of industry experience in robotics software development and architecture.
• Proven ability to build scalable software platforms, not project-specific solutions.
• Experience with industrial automation systems and OPC UA / PROFINET.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall architecture of the robotic manipulation platform.
• Transform project-specific software into a reusable product with configurable features.
• Establish architecture standards, coding guidelines and development frameworks.
• Drive modularization and standardization for global deployment across factories.
• Design scalable software infrastructure supporting multiple factories, part families, robots.
• Architect end-to-end robotic pipelines including vision, pose estimation, planning, and execution.
• Design MLOps workflows for model training, deployment, monitoring and data management.
• Create documentation, setup manuals and contribute to technology transfer.
• Lead architecture reviews and evaluate new robotics/AI technologies.
