Job summary

Trip.com Group is hiring for a senior role focusing on fraud and risk across global business units. You will own KPIs, partner with Product, Data, Legal, and Compliance, and drive mitigation plans to balance risk with revenue and customer experience.

With 6+ years in fraud/risk or related fields, you’ll analyze data using SQL and BI tools, translate insights into actionable strategies, and lead strategic risk initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in fraud/risk, payments, e-commerce, customer success, business partnering, product, or operations roles.
  • Proven experience partnering with internal stakeholders across Product, Commercial, Operations, or other business functions and driving alignment without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience using SQL, BI tools, or dashboards to diagnose issues and support business decisions.
  • Solid understanding of online fraud, chargebacks, payment flows, and risk controls; experience with fraud tools or rules engines is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong ownership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver initiatives independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in fintech, travel, e-commerce, digital marketplaces, or shared-services/COE environments is preferred; Python/R and tools such as Accertify, Riskified, or LexisNexis are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the key risk control business partner for assigned business units, understanding their products, customer journeys, risk appetite, and commercial goals.
  • Own and align fraud, chargeback, approval-rate, and other risk KPIs across business, Risk Operations, and Corporate teams; translate data into actionable insights.
  • Lead regular business reviews to identify emerging risks, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities, driving mitigation plans and accountability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Fraud Operations, Product, Data/Analytics, Legal, and Compliance to prioritize risk use cases, improve controls, and resolve issues.
  • Capture business and customer pain points to inform fraud tooling, rules, models, processes, and product roadmaps while balancing risk, revenue, and customer experience.
  • Monitor regional fraud trends and localized customer behaviors across the OTA industry, recommending market-specific risk prevention and control strategies.
  • Lead cyber-fraud incident identification and containment, and ensure fraud prevention platforms and frameworks remain scalable and aligned with global expansion.

In this Role, you'll get to
