Job summary

NTUC FairPrice is seeking a capable supervisor to drive sales and profits for a product category. You will manage inventory, maintain housekeeping and merchandising standards, and plan product allocation to meet customer demand.

You will also supervise and train a team of Retail Assistants to ensure smooth daily operations. The role requires leadership, teamwork, and service orientation, with a 6-day work week and rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Ability to lead and train a team of Retail Assistants.
• Strong customer service orientation.

The job tasks include inventory management, maintaining housekeeping and merchandising standards as well as product planning and allocation according to sales and customer demands. You are also required to supervise and train a team of Retail Assistants in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Requirements

• Diploma/ GCE A level/ Higher NITEC/ GCE O level with minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Independent and team player with good leadership skills
• Service-oriented and hands-on person
• 6 day work week. Must be prepared to work on rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Permanent night shift positions also available
• Fresh Graduates and those with a WSQ Diploma in Retail Management are welcome to apply
