Job summary

The Toy Folks is recruiting friendly, energetic individuals for a festive season role in Singapore. You’ll work at Forum The Shopping Mall / Marina Square or a December pop-up, assisting customers, handling cashiering, and helping with inventory and basic merchandising.

Flexible schedule, 2–3 days per week including weekends, with Christmas Eve and pre-Christmas shifts required. Experience with children’s books, toys, and games is a plus.

Qualifications

• Love kids and are enthusiastic about children’s books, toys, and games.
• Pleasant, cheerful disposition; respectful towards others.
• Enjoy chatting with customers, especially kids and parents.
• Able to work independently, are responsible, self-motivated.
• Positive can-do spirit and take initiative.
• Comfortable with social media – optional but a value-add.

Responsibilities

• Handle shop operations and cashiering, along with daily opening and closing.
• Engage with customers to provide meaningful product recommendations, and build customer relationships.
• Do general housekeeping along with upkeep of inventory replenishment and basic visual merchandising.
• Receive stock and other administrative duties.
• Support online store by fulfilling orders and other duties.
• Produce content for our IG! (optional).
• Work at least 2-3 days a week – 1 weekday and 2 weekends (at least 1 full day on Saturdays, half days for the other 2 days). You will be required to work on Christmas Eve, and the days leading up to it!
• Commit to retail store opening hours (Full day – 11am-8pm / 11-9pm, Half day – 5 to 6-hour shifts from opening to closing).
• Be based at our shops (Forum The Shopping Mall / Marina Square) or our December pop-up (East), as needed!
