Job summary

Liliewoods Social at Great World, Singapore, is seeking a Part Time Retail Sales Associate to welcome parents and gift-shoppers, promote products, and maintain a tidy shop floor.

You will handle cashiering, POS operations, gift wrapping, and balance checks, while restocking and merchandising to create a friendly, family-oriented shopping environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is a plus.
• Energetic, approachable and comfortable with families.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented with cash handling.
• Good English communication; second language is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends and during promotions.

Position Overview

We are looking for a friendly, engaging, and trustworthy Part Time Retail Sales Assoc to join our team at our Great World boutique store. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of Liliewoods Social—helping parents and gift-shoppers discover the right products, managing smooth checkout transactions, and maintaining a tidy, beautiful shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement & Product Promotion

• Warmly greet walk-in customers and create an engaging, family-friendly shopping experience.

• Share product knowledge on our range of toys, games, furniture, and more.

• Assist customers with product inquiries, gift recommendations, and play demonstrations.

2. Cashiering & POS Operations

• Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash, PayNow, credit card payments, and digital vouchers accurately.

• Manage gift wrapping, order packing, and receipt issuance smoothly.

• Assist with basic opening or closing cashier balance checks at the end of shifts.

3. Store Maintenance & Visual Merchandising

• Assist in keeping the retail floor, display shelves, and play corners clean, organized, and inviting throughout the day.

• Restock products on shelves from backroom storage as needed.

• Report any stock shortages or damaged items to the Store Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or cashiering is a plus (fresh school levers or tertiary students with a positive attitude are welcome to apply).

• Energetic, approachable, and comfortable interacting with young children and parents.

• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail when handling cash and POS systems.

• Good communication skills in English (fluency in a second language is a plus).

• Flexible availability to work weekend shifts, public holidays, or during key retail sales events.

Work Details & Perks

• Location: Liliewoods Social @ Great World (#02-113), 1 Kim Seng Promenade, Singapore.

• Shift Commitment: MUST perform at least 1 weekend, and weekdays availability is a plus.

• Benefits: Hourly rate. Commission is payable when sales target is achieved.
