Job summary

New Life Stories Limited in Singapore is seeking a compassionate social worker to provide case management and relationship-based support for families affected by incarceration. You will conduct family assessments, home visits, and care planning across agencies to promote child and family wellbeing.

You will facilitate restorative and resilience-based groupwork, advocate for families, and participate in supervision and programme evaluation. Weekend and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (eligible for registration with Singapore equivalent body).
• Experience with multicultural families and resilience-focused work is preferred.
• Ability to apply a systemic, trauma-aware, restorative lens to practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and relationship-focused support using empathy and connection.
• Conduct family assessments, home visits, and multi-agency care planning.
• Facilitate restorative groupwork to rebuild family bonds and belonging.
• Advocate for child and family wellbeing through collaboration across systems.
• Engage in reflective supervision and programme evaluation.
• Be flexible to work occasional weekends and after office hours.
