Breakthrough Missions Ltd in Singapore offers a role for a dedicated Social Worker to provide counselling and case management for residents under the prison programme, helping them reintegrate into society with Christian values.

You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, manage files, facilitate individual and group counselling, collaborate with Singapore Prisons, and assist residents with community resources and daily life needs in a supportive, faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Counselling or Psychology.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social service or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese; proficient to engage Chinese-speaking clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in prison or rehabilitation work will be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Conduct assessments and develop individual care plans for clients.
• Manage case files and provide case management for job placement, accommodation, financial assistance and other rehabilitation goals.
• Conduct individual and group counselling sessions, prison intake interviews, family engagements and aftercare follow-up.
• Facilitate classes and community service programmes.
• Collaborate with Singapore Prisons to ensure holistic care for the residents.
• Assist clients in reconnecting with community resources.
• Oversee residents’ day-to-day matters.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties as and when required.
