Job summary

ANNAPOORNA SIGNATURE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an IT Consultant to implement and maintain POS software and QR ordering apps, aligning configurations with business needs and operational workflows.

You will configure digital menus to support dietary filters, manage menu and price updates, optimize the Kitchen Display System, and set up automated inventory tracking. You’ll train staff, build insightful dashboards, and liaise with vendors to keep systems reliable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as IT/Technical Consultant in F&B.
• Experience in POS system support & restaurant tech operations.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, databases, and cloud-based software.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Set-up, configure and maintain POS software, QR ordering apps according to business needs, system requirements, and operational workflows
• Configure our digital menus so guests can easily and accurately filter for Vegan, Jain, Gluten-Free, and other dietary preferences
• Manage price changes, menu updates, product configurations, and other system amendments based on authorized user requests.
• Optimize Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) for efficient order routing
• Set up automated inventory tracking for fresh produce
• Train floor and kitchen staff on software use
• Build backup plans to prevent downtime during busy shifts.
• Build simple dashboards to help us track sales trends, menu margins, and ingredient waste.
• Liaise with software providers, hardware suppliers, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate system enhancements.
• Maintain IT documentation, system configurations, troubleshooting records, and support procedures.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Consultant or Technical Consultant in F&B industry.
• Experience in POS system support, retail or F&B technology, application support operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of APIs, database management, and cloud-based software system
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of the plant-based, vegetarian food industry is highly advantageous.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently as well as within a team.
• Willingness to provide after-hours or weekends and public holidays if necessary
