Job summary

EduCare Specialist Services is seeking a Restaurant Manager Trainee in Singapore to gain hands-on experience in frontline restaurant service and daily operations. The role focuses on learning supervisory and management responsibilities while contributing to a fast-paced dining environment.

You will start with frontline duties and gradually take on more responsibility in team coordination, staff deployment and leadership as you progress toward a management role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Prior experience in F&B, retail, hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Willing to perform frontline service and crew duties initially.
• Keen to learn and develop a career in F&B restaurant management.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with friendly, efficient service.
• Handle cashiering and payment transactions.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area, kitchen and restaurant.
• Replenish food, packaging and other operating supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Support opening and closing duties.
• Learn day-to-day operations and work with supervisors to understand restaurant operations.
• Gradually take on team coordination, staff deployment and leadership responsibilities.
• Gain exposure to inventory, stock management and costing.
• Assist with training and guiding new crew members.
