Job summary

INSIGHT CONSUMER CAPITAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities and ensure adherence to standards.

The role emphasizes team development, service quality improvement and strong collaboration with the Chef to maintain high food quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in upscale dining, a proven track record in driving sales and customer relations, and the ability to work in a Chinese-speaking environment.

Qualifications

• Premium dining experience is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in Food & Beverage service, upscale dining or 4- to 5-star Chinese restaurants.
• Proven experience in restaurant operations, driving sales and growth, and maintaining customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure compliance to operations standards and procedures.
• Plan and control manning to meet business needs.
• Develop the team through training, coaching and mentoring with constant interactions.
• Identify areas for improvement in service and food by reviewing service quality audits and formulate action plans.

• Liaise with Chef to ensure a consistently good standard of food quality.

• Constantly identify areas for improvement in service and food and beverage quality by reviewing various service quality audit reports and formulate action plans accordingly.
• Handle customers' requests and feedbacks.
• Liaise with Chef to ensure a consistently good standard of food quality.

Job Requirements

• Experience in Premium Restaurant is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in Food & Beverage Service, ideally in upscale dining establishments, fine-dining restaurants, or 4-star/5-star Chinese restaurants.
• With proven experience in restaurant operations, driving sales and revenue growth, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, executing marketing and promotional initiatives, and consistently achieving business and financial targets.
• Drive consistent service, process improvement and apassion for providing excellent service.
• Good written and conversational Chinese is required as there is a need to comprehend menu in Chinese, communicate with Chinese speaking customers, business partners and associates.
• Team player with strong inter-personal skills.
