Job summary

OCBC Bank is seeking an Responsible AI Lead to operationalise its AI governance framework and drive regulatory‑compliant practices across business units.

Reporting to the Group Data Office, you will oversee model lifecycle controls, risk assessments, platform adoption, and ongoing regulatory monitoring, with responsibilities spanning governance, training, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in AI/DS/Statistics/Math/CS/Engineering or related AI governance discipline.
• 5–8 years in AI/ML, model risk, model validation, or AI governance in a bank or regulated environment.
• Experience with model validation and applying MR principles to Generative AI and agentic AI systems.
• Strong understanding of AI lifecycle management, bias, explainability, controls and monitoring.
• Ability to assess risks and recommend effective controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication for regulatory-grade documentation.

Responsibilities

• AI Governance Framework Implementation: meet regulatory requirements and safeguard the Bank.
• AI Governance Process Optimization & Adoption: implement a modern Model Management Platform and drive adoption.
• AI Governance Advisory & Business Enablement: provide advisory and training on governance.
• AI Inventory and Risk Assessment: manage AI inventory and conduct risk/materiality assessments.
• Regulatory & Industry Monitoring: track AI regulations and prepare governance reports.
