Job summary

Proskill Workforce Pte Ltd is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to support daily site supervision and coordination of Building Services M&E in Tuas. The role is full-time with ASAP commencement.

The candidate will inspect, QA, and coordinate across mechanical and electrical works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and QA plans on large infrastructure projects in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Registered as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with IES/ACES.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in QA inspections.
• Experience in large infrastructure, solid waste or water projects in Singapore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in daily site supervision and coordination of Building Services mechanical and electrical works.
• Inspect and supervise contractors' works and testing in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain quality records and monitor and report on work progress.
• Carry out quality assurance inspections and testing of works.
• Implement the project's quality assurance plan in a coordinated manner.
• Coordinate with contractors on the execution and progress of works.
• Supervise both mechanical and electrical aspects of Building Services works.
• Monitor works relating to sanitary and plumbing, fire fighting, ACMV, electrical distribution, power generation, lighting, security systems, EVC, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, IBMS and other relevant systems.
• Report site issues, defects and non-compliances to the Resident Engineer and relevant parties.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

• Registered as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections.
• Relevant experience in large infrastructure, solid waste management or water infrastructure projects in Singapore is preferred.
• Must be well-versed in Building Services mechanical and electrical works.
• Good knowledge of site supervision, inspections, testing and quality assurance requirements.
• Familiarity with BIM software will be an advantage.
• Able to commence work as soon as possible.
