Job summary

PROSKILL WORKFORCE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) for Building Services M&E at our Tuas site. This full-time role requires ASAP commencement and involves close supervision of site works, QA inspections, and coordination with contractors.

You will review drawings, ensure QA compliance, and report progress. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA inspections, RTO registration, and BIM awareness to support M&E systems execution.

Qualifications

• Registered as an RTO with IES/ACES in Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in QA inspections.
• Experience in large infrastructure or water-related projects preferred.
• Familiar with Building Services M&E works.
• Proficient in site supervision, testing and QA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in daily site supervision and coordination of Building Services mechanical and electrical works.
• Inspect and supervise contractors' works and testing in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Maintain quality records and monitor and report on work progress.
• Carry out quality assurance inspections and testing of works.
• Implement the project's quality assurance plan in a coordinated manner.
• Coordinate with contractors on the execution and progress of works.
• Supervise both mechanical and electrical aspects of Building Services works.
• Monitor works relating to sanitary and plumbing, fire fighting, ACMV, electrical distribution, power generation, lighting, security systems, EVC, ISMS, ViMS, CCTV, FIDS, BACS, IBMS and other relevant systems.
• Report site issues, defects and non-compliances to the Resident Engineer and relevant parties.

Requirements

• Registered as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) / Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES) .
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance inspections.
• Relevant experience in large infrastructure, solid waste management or water infrastructure projects in Singapore is preferred.
• Must be well-versed in Building Services mechanical and electrical works .
• Good knowledge of site supervision, inspections, testing and quality assurance requirements.
• Familiarity with BIM software will be an advantage.
• Able to commence work as soon as possible .
