Job summary

CUTECH QUALITY SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced RTO site supervisor to oversee C&S site works, including major structural steel and precast construction, with deployment to an overseas fabrication yard.

You will install/monitor instrumentation, maintain records, and resolve issues through strong leadership and teamwork. Requires 8+ years in supervision and relevant civil/structural certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience as an RTO with at least 5 years in supervising major construction works in buildings, tunnels, drainage, steel, foundations, pavements.
• Diploma in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical from a Polytechnic or equivalent.
• Accredited with IES & ACES.
• BCSS Course certificate.
• StS (Singapore Structural Steel Society) certificate.
• Experience supervising large-span structural steel and precast construction.
• WSHMCI and related regulatory trainings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise C&S site works including structural steel and precast construction.

• Proactively resolve site issues with good team spirit.
• Based in Singapore and deployed to an overseas fabrication yard for structural steel/precast works.
• Coordinate with external supervision firm for ongoing yard supervision.

Job description

Job Description:

• Supervise C&S site works including structural steel and precast construction.
• Install/monitor instrumentation and collate monitoring data.
• Maintain proper, updated site records.
• Proactively resolve site issues with good team spirit.
• Based in Singapore and deployed to an overseas fabrication yard for structural steel/precast works.
• Remaining yard supervision may be supplemented by a local supervision engineering firm engaged by the Contractor (06A QSS PR, Cl. 3.1.1.i).

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years' relevant experience as a RTO, of which at least 5 years in supervision of works of similar complexity (major construction works in buildings, tunnels, drainage, structural steel works, foundations, flexible/rigid pavements).
• Diploma in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES & ACES.
• BCSS Course certificate.
• Structural Steel Supervisor (StS) certificate (Singapore Structural Steel Society).
• Experience supervising large-span structural steel and precast construction.
• Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry (WSHMCI) and other trainings per Cl. 4.2.
• Conversant with statutory codes/requirements for site supervision, quality control, safety & health, construction administration and progress reporting.
• Good analytical ability with strong verbal & written communication skills.
• Able to keep proper, updated site records.
• Strong supervision & leadership skills, proactive in resolving site issues with good team spirit.
• Relevant experience in the Aviation/Aerodrome sector preferred.
• Able to perform shift work.
• C&S QSS will be required to visit fabrication yards with QPs for inspection/audit checks.
