Job summary

STERLING ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced steelwork supervisor to oversee civil, structural, architectural, and M&E works on industrial projects.

You will ensure installation quality against drawings and statutory requirements, conduct in-progress inspections, and report non-conformities to the Qualified Person. The role requires at least 5 years in building works, with registration under IES/ACES and SSSS, and BCSS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building works; industrial building with prestressed elements preferred.
• Registered and valid RE/ RTO accreditation by IES or ACES.
• Registered under SSSS as a steelwork supervisor.
• BCSS certificate preferred.
• Conversant with statutory codes and requirements.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Job Requirement

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building works. Preferably with experience in industrial building/ development with prestressed (PT) elements
• Registered and valid RE/ RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) or Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• . Registered under Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS) as a registered steelwork supervisor
• Preferred applicants with Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisors Course (BCSS)
• Conversant in statutory code and requirements
• Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
