Job summary

WSP CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned M&E supervisor to oversee and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works on site for hospital, healthcare, or commercial developments in Singapore.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, at least 8 years’ experience supervising M&E installations, and familiarity with local codes and regulations. You will attend site meetings, inspect workmanship, monitor progress and quality, maintain site

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience supervising M&E installations in healthcare/commercial developments.
• Familiar with local codes/regulations.
• Experience in manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all M&E works on site.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, codes and standards.
• Attend site meetings and site walks with developers and consultants.
• Assist consultants in supervision and inspection of construction work.
• Monitor project progress, schedule and quality.
• Maintain and update site records on progress.
• Inspect workmanship of M&E works on site.
• Check drawings including authority submissions and shop drawings.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Scope of works includes supervision and co-ordination of all Mechanical & Electrical works.
• Ensure that all installations are in accordance with the Working / Approved Drawings, and applicable local Codes, Regulations and Standards.
• To attend site meetings and site walks with developer and consultants as required.
• Assist the Consultants in supervision and inspection of construction work on site.
• Monitor project progress schedule and quality standards.
• Maintain and update site records on project progress.
• Inspect and monitor quality of workmanship of M&E works on site.
• Check all drawings (including authority submission drawings and shop drawings)

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 8 years’ (RTO) experience in the supervision of M&E installation for local Hospital/Healthcare/Institution/Commercial developments
• Familiar with local codes and regulations
• Experience in manufacturing facilities
