Job summary

BECA CARTER HOLLINGS & FERNER (S.E.ASIA) PTE LTD is seeking a Resident Technical Officer for a Nursing Home project along Dover Road. The role involves assisting the Job Manager, providing standing supervision, and ensuring works meet drawings, specs and safety requirements on site.

Applicants should have an ITE certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering with JAC accreditation and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in site supervision.

Qualifications

• ITE certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
• Healthcare project experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager.
• Provide standing supervision as directed by the Consultant team.
• Check construction drawings and highlight discrepancies prior to installation works.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
