Job summary

Beca Carter Hollings & Ferner (S.E. Asia) Pte Ltd is seeking a Resident Technical Officer to support the Job Manager on site in Singapore. You will supervise on-site activities, review drawings for discrepancies, and ensure safety and adherence to specifications.

Typical healthcare project exposure is a plus. The role requires an ITE certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering and a valid RTO Practising Certificate, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

ITE certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised institution.
Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with a valid RTO Practising Certificate.
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
Healthcare project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager.
Provide standing supervision as directed by the Consultant team.
Check drawings for discrepancies prior to installation.
Ensure works carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.
Ensure adequate safety precautions on site.
Resolve site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
Maintain site records.
