LANDMARK E&C PTE. LTD. seeks a diligent Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee structural and civil works for residential projects. You will be the on-site eyes and ears, ensuring contractor compliance with drawings, regulations, and quality standards, reporting to the QP and consultants.

We are looking for a diligent and proactive Resident Technical Officer (RTO) to oversee structural and civil works for residential building projects. You will act as the key eyes and ears on-site, ensuring contractor compliance with approved drawings, statutory regulations, and stringent quality standards while reporting directly to the Qualified Person (QP) and consultant team.
Site Supervision & Quality Assurance: Oversee day-to-day structural site activities to ensure strict adherence to approved method statements, work procedures, and statutory safety and building regulations.
Technical Review & Issue Resolution: Review architectural and structural drawings to identify discrepancies early; recommend practical engineering solutions to consultants to avoid site delays.
Compliance & Consultant Directives: Ensure the main builder executes all works strictly in accordance with the consultant’s specifications, instructions, and approved designs.
Inspections & Material QC: Conduct thorough site and material quality inspections; identify non-conformances (NCRs) and ensure prompt rectification by the builder.
Testing & Commissioning: Witness and endorse all formal site inspections, field tests, and equipment/material testing carried out by contractors.
Progress Verification: Audit and verify contractor claims for progress payments, validating actual work done and materials or equipment delivered and stored on site.
Site Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous and up-to-date site records, including daily inspection logs, safety records, and marked-up/as-built drawings; submit regular progress and quality reports to the Project QP and consultant team.
Qualifications: Minimum Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Accreditation: Must be a certified Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accredited by IES / ACES.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant site supervision experience in residential building projects preferred. (fresh candidates are fully welcome)
Technical Knowledge: Conversant with local building control regulations, statutory codes of practice, and BCA standards.
Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise firmly yet collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
