Job summary

IC SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee bored tunnel construction for MRT works in Singapore.

The role requires supervising slurry TBM activities, enforcing strict quality control, and reviewing technical documents while maintaining daily site records. The candidate should be registered with JAC of IES/ACES as an accredited Resident Engineer (Tunnel) and hold a Civil Engineering degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in Bukit Timah slurry

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Accredited Resident Engineer (Tunnel) registration with JAC of IES/ACES is mandatory.
• Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience, with 2+ years in slurry tunneling supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Resident Engineer for bored tunnel construction on MRT works.
• Supervise tunnel construction using slurry TBM and ensure quality standards.
• Review and approve technical documents and maintain daily site records.
• Witness and verify field tests performed on site and monitor progress.
• Lead and manage a team of RTOs to achieve project milestones.

• Supervise and ensure strict quality control
• Review Technical Documents
• Keep record of all site activities and prepare daily report
• Witness & verify any field test carried out on site;
• Monitor and report progress of the works on site;
• Manage a team of RTOs

Requirements

• Registered with JAC of IES/ACES as an accredited Resident Engineer (Tunnel)
• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as Civil Engineer
• At least 2 years in supervising Slurry tunneling works in Bukit Timah formation .
• Able to work 60 hours per week
• Able to work in long shifts
