Job summary

Huawei International Pte. Ltd. is seeking a network operations specialist to manage incident escalations, coordinate with infra and vendor teams, and resolve complex network issues. The role requires strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure to minimize business impact.

You will perform configurations, software upgrades, and daily health checks, with emphasis on clear English communication and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, engineering/telecommunication with distinction.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience for networking implementation and maintenance.
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

• Management of network incidents escalations from L1/L2, incident and problem and security incident response.
• Responsible to work with the respective infra teams in troubleshooting and identify root cause, related to network.
• Responsible to work with the respective network vendors’ support teams for the troubleshooting, identification and resolution of network problems.
• Handling of the critical network incidents under pressure situations to resolve in timely manner to minimize the business impact.
• Attend to conference calls with other support teams for problem identification and resolutions.
• Support basic network operation using GUI and tools, including daily health check, end user support, weekly/monthly routine operation
• Perform configuration on network equipment
• Software upgrade and patch update of network equipment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, engineering/telecommunication with distinction.

• CCIP, HCIP, CCIE and HCIE will be an added advantage.

• Minimum 2 years of working experience for networking implementation and maintenance.

• Experience with coordinating with multiple vendors for network deployment.

• Pro-active, dynamic and with good analytical/conceptual thinking.

• Logical thinking and problem analysis skills to troubleshoot complex network problem to isolate the root cause and provide suitable resolution.

• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.

• Meticulous, dateline oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task.
