Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) PTE LTD is seeking a Network Operations professional to provide operational support on managed devices and ensure service levels are met. You will manage incidents and changes, document progress, and coordinate with vendors to resolve problems.

The role requires CCNA level knowledge, proficiency in Ethernet/WAN-LAN, and strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment. On-site work in Singapore with vigilant focus on customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• CCNA level certification or equivalent knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, WAN/LAN, IPv4/IPv6, TCP/IP routing.
• Experience with incident and change management processes.
• Ability to liaise with vendors and third parties effectively.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Router/Switch/Firewall services implementation and operations to meet SLAs.
• Record and update incident/problem management systems with network alerts and tickets.
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve customer-reported problems to satisfaction.
• Maintain high awareness of customer service levels and incident severity.
• Lead incident resolution and participate in project delivery for quality outcomes.

Job description

Primary Job Functions

• Operational support on managed devices
• Ensure quality delivery within defined service levels and maintain stability of the environment
• On-call support for Severity 1 incidents
• Change, Incident and Problem Management
• Provide reporting requirements as per contractual obligations
• Documentation and business controls with the devices undermanagement
• Participate and lead in incident resolution

Responsibilities

• Router/Switch/Firewall services implementation, operational support, implementation and problem determination
• Accurately record/update incident/problem management systems on network alerts, faults and assigned tickets.
• Liaise with other technical areas internally where necessary to ensure customer reported problems are resolved to the customer satisfaction
• High awareness of individual customer service levels when dealing with problems.
• Interact with internal clients to ensure they are alerted on severity 1 and 2 problems
• Callout services to third parties as required - Telco& hardware vendors etc.
• Develop, implement, maintain processes and procedures as required for the Network & Security Operations Group
• Participate in projects that require instruction, guidance and advice in all aspects of the project to ensure delivery of quality outcomes.
• Be able to identify key issues, priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision

Required Skills

• At least at CCNA level for Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, Fortinet
• Strong understanding of Ethernet, WAN/LAN (IPv4/v6),TCP/IP routing, Network packet analysis tools use and configuration.
• Vendor and third party supplier liaison skills.
• Problem and Change management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure to meet deadlines -Involvement in the implementation, improvement, maintenance of an operational network
• Solid experience in problem analysis and resolution of network problems. Proven ability to function in a self-directed environment.
• Must excel in a fast-paced, agile environment where critical thinking and strong problem solving skills are required for success.
