Job summary

Construction Professionals Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Resident Engineer to supervise construction works on-site and ensure correct implementation of designs in accordance with BCA regulations. You will coordinate on-site activities, oversee safety and quality, and review M&E drawings and contract documents.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, IES accreditation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent.
• IES Resident Engineer accreditation.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with local codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out construction supervision on-site under BCA regulations and ensure design docs are implemented safely.
• Coordinate work on site and ensure construction safety.
• Ensure M&E works comply with regulatory and client requirements.
• Implement and sustain site supervision, quality and safety.
• Review M&E drawings and relevant contract documents for works.
• Attend site progress and technical meetings with project team and client.
• Maintain timely and proper site documentation including meetings and safety records.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out construction supervision of construction works as required under the BCA regulations and ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on-site.


• Responsible for the co-ordination of work on site and ensure construction safety.


• Ensure that all mechanical & electrical works comply fully with regulatory and client's requirements.


• Responsible for implementing and sustaining the site supervision, quality & safety.


• Review M&E drawings and relevant contract documents in carrying out the works.


• Attend site progress and technical meetings with the project team and Client to resolve site and technical issues.


• Ensure that proper site documentation for ongoing works, site meetings, safety records, method statements are updated in a timely manner and properly kept.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.


• Must be accredited as a Resident Engineer with IES.


• Proficient in MS Office applications to facilitate project updates and reports


• Good communication and interpersonal skills


• Familiar with local codes and regulations
