Job summary

Wee Poh Construction Co (Pte) Ltd is seeking a qualified engineer to support the M&E team on construction projects in Singapore. You will plan, coordinate and supervise M&E works, ensuring alignment with drawings and method statements while maintaining quality to meet CONQUAS/QM standards.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years in construction, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit or BIM software. PE Board degree preferred, Singapore-based work site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields; PE Board recognized degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit or BIM software.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction team for M&E engineering works.
• Plan/schedule and coordinate M&E works.
• Coordinate project supervision and monitor site progress.
• Coordinate M&E work and liaise with other departments to resolve site issues.
• Oversee works to ensure conformance with drawings, materials and method statements.
• Ensure work quality to achieve CONQUAS and/or QM requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and sub-contractors on M&E issues.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E engineering work and work closely with other department staff to resolve site discrepancies and technical issues.
• Oversee and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements.
• Ensure quality work in order to achieve CONQUAS and/or QM requirements
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and sub-contractors on M&E issues.
• Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned.
