Job summary

Kingsforce Management Services Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Resident Engineer to supervise Civil and Structural works on water treatment projects in Singapore. You will lead the site team, assist the REC and Construction Manager, review RFIs, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineers and the HQ design team.

The role requires a PE B-recognised Civil & Structural Engineering degree, at least 10 years of relevant supervision experience, and registration with IES as a Resident Engineer.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, preferably PE B recognised in Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience supervising Civil and Structural works, especially water or used water treatment projects.
• Registered with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) as a Resident Engineer (Civil).

Responsibilities

• Lead the site supervision team in Civil, Structural, and Building Construction works.
• Assist the REC and Construction Manager with site inspections, contract matters, defects, and rectification supervision.
• Address RFIs and technical submissions from contractors.
• Assess method statements and instrumentation readings; coordinate with engineers and HQ design team.
• Attend site and project meetings; lead technical and progress discussions with clients and contractors.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead the site supervision team in all Civil, Structural, and Building Construction works.
• Assist the Chief Resident Engineer and Construction Manager with Civil and Structural site inspections, contract-related matters, defect identification, and supervision of rectification works.
• Address and respond to contractors' Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical submissions.
• Assess method statements and instrumentation readings, coordinate with engineers from other disciplines, and liaise with the design team/QP at HQ.
• Attend all site and project-related meetings, participate in discussions with clients and contractors, and lead technical and work progress discussions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering, preferably recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
• Minimum 10 years of construction experience supervising Civil and Structural works in water or used water treatment projects.
• Registered with the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) as a Resident Engineer (Civil).
• Good communication and leadership skills.
