Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in English for meetings and documentation.

Job Summary

Provide on-site supervision and management for civil and structural construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and coordination among contractors, consultants, and external parties.

• Supervise civil and structural construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and the Building Control Act and Regulations
• Manage and lead a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officers to ensure effective performance and accountability on site
• Maintain and submit accurate records of works, materials, and equipment used on site
• Attend and document meetings, including taking minutes and facilitating communication among contractors, consultants, and external parties such as neighboring contractors and utility companies
• Coordinate contractor activities to align with project timelines and stakeholder requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• Registered Resident Engineer with BCA, IES, or ACES

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in English to communicate effectively in meetings and documentation
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel) to prepare reports and records
