Job summary

TW-Asia Consultants Pte Ltd seeks an experienced on-site supervisor to lead a team of technical supervisors on large projects in Singapore. You will ensure adherence to regulations and client requirements, supervise structural works, and interpret drawings and contract documents.

The role requires a recognized Civil/Structural Engineering degree, PE Board registration, and at least 8 years in steel and precast building construction, with familiarity of MOM and BCA standards.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for PE Board registration.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Engineer Practicing.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in steel and precast building construction.
• Familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
• Experience in condominium projects.
• Good team player and experience in leading a team of Resident Technical Officers.
• Regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance with MOM health and safety.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings and contract documents on works.
• Supervision and management of C&S and Architecture works on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Report to C&S QP and coordinate with regulatory authorities and contractors for supervision on site and timely project completion.
• Supervise structural works and identify any non-conformity in contractor’s works on site; interpret drawings and contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with local requirements, especially BCA criteria for build-ability and safety.
• Carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure MOM health and safety compliance.
• Manage site supervisors across C&S, Architecture, and M&E engineering works.
• Attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings; interpret drawings and contract documents.

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and client's requirements.
• To report to C&S QP, works closely with the regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, resolve all site issues and ensure timelycompletion of the projects.
• To be competent in carrying out supervision of structural works by identifying any non-conformity of contractor's works on site. The appointed person must havethe strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.
• Appointed person possesses a complete understanding of local requirements, especially to comply with BCA's criteria for build-ability and safety assurancesystem.
• To carry out regular site checks on Builder and ensure compliance on health and work safety in accordance with MOM.
• To manage the site supervisors with respect to C&S engineering works, architectural and MandE engineering works.
• To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings Interpret drawings and contract documents on works to be carried.

Job Requirement

• Recognized Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering acceptable for registration with the PE Board, Singapore.
• Accredited with IES/ACES with a valid Resident Engineer Practicing.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience preferably in steel and precast building construction.
• Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for Civil and Structural related to building projects.
