Job summary

SYNTECH E&C PTE. LTD. is seeking a Resident Engineer to manage and supervise major construction works on site, ensuring compliance with building plans, codes and customer specifications. The role involves on-site inspections, meetings, and review of drawings and method statements.

You will station full-time on site to support Senior Resident Engineers and Qualified Persons, monitor progress, maintain quality records, and coordinate with project consultants and managers to resolve on-site issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board.
• Registered Resident Engineer with BCA.
• At least 4 years site supervision experience on LTA projects.
• Proficient in English and computer use.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction works on site as RE in building and civil infra.
• Maintain quality records and monitor progress.
• Review and comment on contractor submissions.
• Site on site to support SRE and QP(S).
• Report non-conformances to project consultants and managers.

Job Description & Requirements

• Manage and supervise major construction supervision as RE of building works and civil infrastructure, involving site inspection, meetings and review of drawings and method statements in accordance to customer specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Review and comment on contractor's submissions.
• Station full-time on site to support Senior Resident Engineers (SRE) and the QP(S) with projects.
• Report to the supervising Qualified Persons any work that are not constructed according to the building approved plans, project drawings including shop drawings
• Assist to resolve all site issues, including coordination with adjacent/nearby construction sites and report to the respective project consultants, supervising Qualified Persons and appointed project manager

Requirements

• Minimally a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
• Candidate must be a registered Resident Engineer with BCA.
• At least 4 years site supervisory experience in LTA projects.
• Must be literate in English and have a good knowledge to use computer
