Job summary

APEX28 Consultancy Pte. Ltd. seeks aSenior Resident Engineer (RE) to lead major construction supervision for building works and civil infrastructure in Singapore.

The role requires extensive site oversight, meetings, and diligent review of drawings and method statements in line with customer specs, codes and standards. You will perform independent design checks for temporary structures, maintain quality records, and monitor safety, environmental, and health matters across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering from an accredited institution.
• Qualified as QSS (QSS) by JAC of IES/ACES.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as RE.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in project management and construction supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, organized with positive work attitude.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

• Carry out independent design checks for temporary falsework and formwork support system
• Keep quality records of all works, monitor and report on work progress
• Review and comment on contractor's submissions.
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Station full-time on site to support Senior Resident Engineers (SRE) and the QP(S) with projects.

Requirements

• Minimum Civil Engineering Degree / Structural Engineering from an established institution and/or shall be engineer in civil/structure discipline with qualification accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as RE.
• Has good working knowledge of Civil and M&E works and Strong knowledge of Singapore building codes, regulations, and standards.
• Proficiency in project management and construction supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Independent, organized with positive work attitude.
