Job summary

National Dental Centre Singapore Pte Ltd. is seeking a proactive Manager, Research to oversee and support projects within its multidisciplinary population oral health research programme.

You will coordinate grants, manage budgets, prepare reports, and liaise with investigators and external partners to ensure timely delivery. The role requires 6+ years of research grant administration experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or related discipline with 6+ years in research grant administration or project management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with adaptability to changing priorities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems/digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor research grants to ensure funds are allocated, received and utilized in compliance with funding agencies and institutional policies.
• Serve as liaison between PI, team members and external stakeholders.
• Plan and manage project budgets, monitor milestones and track KPIs.
• Coordinate submission of grant applications, variations, extensions, and manpower forecasts and budgets.
• Prepare presentations, reports and progress updates for agencies, stakeholders and management.
• Organise and provide secretariat and administrative support for research meetings, including minutes.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned.
