Job summary

Singapore Institute of Technology is seeking a Research Engineer/Assistant to support a national study on digital adult-learning quality. You will manage operational delivery, data handling, and stakeholder coordination across CET providers and multiple data sources.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, familiarity with quantitative methods, and strong communication skills to engage adult learners and institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of quantitative methods and data collection is expected.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills for multiple participants and timelines.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with stakeholders and adult learners.
• Experience with Qualtrics and related data collection tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Principal Investigator in delivering project milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, screening, informed consent, scheduling, reimbursement and retention.
• Set up and administer research instruments and workflows using platforms such as Qualtrics.
• Support workshops, Delphi rounds, interviews and provider engagement, including logistics and documentation.
• Collect, organise and quality-check survey, interview and LMS/telemetry data from multiple sources.
• Maintain data dictionaries, audit trails, and ensure data privacy and PDPA procedures.
• Liaise with participants, course teams and partner institutions; assist with project administration.
• Work independently and with the team, supporting student assistants and risk assessments.
