Qualifications

• At least 2 years of industry experience in financial services compliance or a regulator/trading venue.
• Experience with trade surveillance and exception-based monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and trading.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely analysis of alerts leading to detection and prevention of market misconduct.
• Identify areas of concern and highlight abnormal activity to senior management and product heads.
• Contribute to design and development of models to enhance surveillance coverage, including conduct risk and market manipulation.
• Perform ad-hoc reviews of trading activity, identify high risk behaviors, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Compile analysis into summaries and share findings with Legal and Compliance stakeholders.
• Stay informed of regulatory changes that impact surveillance programs and improve coverage and performance.
