Job summary

Binance is seeking a Market Surveillance Investigator to collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Technology and Front Office teams to design surveillance capabilities and analyze outputs of surveillance reports with accuracy and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in financial services compliance, strong written and verbal communication, and experience with trade surveillance or monitoring.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in financial services compliance or a regulator/exchange environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and trading with regulatory familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely analysis of alerts leading to detection and prevention of market misconduct.
• Identify areas of concern and elevate to stakeholders; highlight abnormal activity to the Head of Market Surveillance.
• Contribute to the design and development of models to enhance surveillance coverage, including conduct risk and market manipulation.
• Perform ad-hoc reviews of trading activity, identifying high-risk behaviours and resolving issues efficiently.
• Compile analysis into meaningful summaries and share findings with Legal and Compliance.
• Keep informed of regulatory and market structure changes to improve coverage and performance.
