Cengage seeks a Regional Talent Strategy Partner to advise business groups in Southeast Asia and ANZ from Singapore. You will lead talent planning, organizational design, and change initiatives while partnering with Legal and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated people solutions.

You will coach leaders on performance, succession, and engagement, and you will manage complex employee relations with a focus on risk mitigation and organizational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of progressive HR experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Talent Partner, or Employee Relations role.
• Strong business sense and the ability to translate strategy into talent actions.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships, coach leaders, and influence decisions.
• Experience with talent planning, performance management, organizational change, and complex employee relations.
• Strong communication, consultation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across HR, Legal, and business teams.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of country-specific laws and regulations within assigned region.

Responsabilités

• Function as the partner for business groups within an assigned region.
• Translate business priorities into practical talent and organizational strategies.
• Support the execution of talent planning, workforce planning, organizational design, and change initiatives.
• Use workforce data and business insights to identify talent needs, risks, and opportunities.
• Influence leaders and recommend solutions that improve business and people outcomes.
• Coach leaders on talent decisions, performance management, employee development, and team effectiveness.
• Lead annual talent processes, including performance reviews, talent planning, succession planning, compensation planning, and engagement action planning.
• Partner with leaders to attract, develop, engage and retain critical talent.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated people solutions.
• Advise leaders on complex employee relations matters, performance concerns, and policy interpretation.
• Manage investigations and employee matters in partnership with Legal and HR colleagues.
• Identify and mitigate people-related, legal, and organizational risks.
• Recognize trends and recommend broader leadership or organizational actions.
• Handle country specific documentation requests within region related to onboarding, job change, etc.
